the buddha was so radical
he discovered uncovered what is
what has always been
what is true beyond all limitation
what is vast and unthinkable
deeper than deep

he showed us a path
from confusion to clarity
darkness into light
from self importance to
concern for others
a bigger way of being

and what is dharma therapy?
to go beyond the “problem”
where someone listens deeply
to help you find your bearings
to guide with skill and experience
to help you on your way.

sometimes we need a spiritual friend
to walk with on the path
~ Naomi Mattis

"If you need to talk to someone, you can call Naomi. She has helped a lot of people."
~ Ven. Gyatrul Rinpoche, Ojai 2010
“Naomi has been both a therapist and a dharma practitioner for over 30 years. She is insightful, dedicated and has the ability to help people move to a place of honesty. Because of this, some years back I encouraged her to formally practice Dharma Therapy. I support her work and have confidence that she will benefit many people.”
